We use our hands and wrists every day for thousands of tasks. Often these are done without thinking. So when something goes wrong with them we feel it instantly and the effects are very noticible and often quite painful.
As with all aspects of injury management, the right treatment can only begin after a correct diagnosis. Pain in the hand and wrist can commonly be attributed to a number of sources including; muscular pain, arthritic joints, tendon or joint injuries. However, sometimes the source may come from your neck, shoulder, elbow or elsewhere that can result in your hand exhibiting the symptoms.
Common sources of pain or discomfort in your hand and wrist and digits include:

- Strains and sprains;

- Overuse, RSI / OOS; or
